Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of the 21st. inst. we note that you will be able to use the same shaper for the new hose connection (mentioned in our letter of the 19th. inst.) as you have made for our Part Number EB.3715, but with regard to your query as to whether the length is increased by 1" at each end we are afraid you do not appear to have appreciated quite what alteration has been made to the connection shown on drawing ECD.946. The alteration consists of the addition of 2" to the straight portion of the old EB.3715 connection and we attach herewith a detail drawing showing the connection required. We agree to your charge of 2/8d. each for experimental quantities and would like you to send us a connection to this detail drawing EW.2007 (attached herewith) as soon as possible.
