To THC. from EFE. X. 2512. extract from EFC/AT20.12.18. X. 3129 - RE BATTERY IGNITION FOR 49-GB. This is to confirm that, as arranged in conversation, you will have removed the Aero type contact breaker and distributor from the above chassis and fit up in its place the chassis type contact breaker and distributor. Further, that you will have fitted on to the side of the coil case the ballast resistance already made up by your Dept. Also that you will, if time permits, have the chassis trembler coil removed from the box and have the aero type coil, which is already fitted in its case on the car, placed in this box instead of in the position it now occupies by the side of the contact breaker. Regarding the condensers, of the two which have been made and submitted to us for trial these are quite satisfactory as regards the insulation although they do not appear to be quite up to the capacity in proportion to their depth as the two previously made of the same quality of mica. We would, therefore, like to modify out instructions EFC6/T121218 such that the two condensers Nos. 10 and 11 shall both have a depth of 1.00 instead of being .750 and 1.100 respectively. | ||
