| SHW (HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) X261? Note for the file. Flight Lieut. Staniland. - B.42-FB. This owner telephoned at 3.40. today to say that he had received our letter of the 3rd but could not send his car in to us unless we could supply him with something to use. I explained that we were unfortunately not in a position to do this at the moment and though doubtful about it would ask Park Ward whether they could. Owner said he was not in a hurry but at the same time the rattles from the body were particularly annoying and caused adverse comment. Owner also mentioned a rough period from the engine at about 2500 revs which he had mentioned to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} It was suggested that as Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} comes to Hayes fairly often, owner should endeavour to demonstrate the period to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} when the engine was hot.
