Re 10-EX.

C1/C8.11.29

re the use of a 40/50 h.p. by the Aero Dept., so we are withdrawing this car.

I attach copy of memo. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to Lp.{Mr Lappin}

You mentioned on the telephone the other day that a good deal of repair work would be necessary, including a new frame. Even so, it would still pay us to sell the car, of course, unless you see any other objections to selling it not previously mentioned, such as a large number of non-standard parts that are likely to be a source of trouble to us in the future (as mentioned by Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} in respect of 12-EX.

I understand, however, this is not the case, but there is the point that you had something experimental fitted that you wanted trying out. Do you still want to keep the chassis for this purpose?

C.
