Rear springs, bearings & shackles.
From outside examination these appear to be in good condition.

Rear "Hartford" shock absorbers, to L.O.F. F.{Mr Friese} 71600.
These have been dismantled & it was found necessary to replace the wooden bush in top anchorage, due to same having become unduly worn. Also, on the N.S. shock absorber it was necessary to fit a new washer, this having become broken & fallen out. The shock absorbers were found to be in good condition, & during the continuation of the test the friction poundage had remained constant, i.e. 55 lbs.

Electrical fittings.
(Distribution board & cut-out, Reynold cut-out contact points (gold & silver) & rigid fixed contact point D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Sch.352.
We have had no trouble with cut-out. It has operated satisfactorily, & the contact points are still in very good condition. Our report re headlights is the one failure in the remaining electrical fittings.

Spare wheel carriers. O.S. to N. Sch.2023. N.S. to N.Sch.2015.
These are still in good condition. We have had no trouble whatsoever. Wheels have remained secure during all our runs.

Body subframe, using subframe brackets F.72192, F.73239 to N.Sch.2001/2.
The subframe, brackets & belts all appear to be in good condition. The movement of the body is the same as previously reported. We have not observed any new features.

Pedals. Improved accelerator pedal "B" type to N.Sch. 2044.
Clutch pedal to give required movement for "B" type clutch.
Foot brake pedal.
Pedals are in good condition, & have operated satisfactorily during the continuation of run. The bearings of same are in good condition.

General examination of frame & fittings underneath the car.
Tie rod brackets, diagonal stays & brackets, rear road spring main bearing supports, cross tubes & equalising shafts - these are still in good condition from an outside examination.

Total weight of car with Limousine body, 20 gallons of petrol, water, oil, tool kit, ballast, driver & assistant ............................ 2 tons 19 cwts.

Total average speed during test ............ 38.67 m.p.h.
" " petrol consumption ...... 10.67 m.p.g.
" " oil " ...... 2904.01 m.p.g.

Weather conditions during test have been bad, with snow, fog, rain & ice.

Standard "Dunlop" 33 x 5 S.S. cord tyres used on test.
Pressures - Front 50 lbs. Rear 55 lbs. per sq. inch.
