Re Chassis 10-EX.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/MJ17.12.29.

We shall be glad to know how you wish us to proceed with the above Chassis -

1. Are we to make it fit for sale with a large number of non-standard parts?

2. Are we to remove all the non-standard parts ?

3. Are we only to remove the non-standard parts mentioned by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ?

4. Are we to dismantle it and use up such parts as we can on repairs ?

If the first is adopted, it will mean putting a Car on the road which carries a lot of parts for which no standardisation sheet has been issued or ever will be issued.

If we remove all the non-standard parts, the cost of turning out the chassis in saleable condition with standard parts, will be out of proportion to the value of the chassis.

If we adopt method 3. the same will apply as in the case of method 1.
