G.L.DEPT: 15th November, 1917. TELEPHONE AVENUE 7854 (2 LINES.) TELEGRAMS, "DICOTTO, LONDON." E Hives, Esq., Experimental Dept: Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Nightingale Rd., Derby. Dear Sir, Further to our conversation over the telephone re Light Aeroplane Oil A.N. and Heavy Aeroplane Oil C.N., of which we sent you a 5gallon drum of each grade, I note that you will be carrying out your tests with these oils in about 10days time, and thank you for your promise to advise me so that I may come down and talk this matter over with you. I much regret that I was unable to see you during my visit to Derby but I look forward to that pleasure in the near future. The Oils we sent you we can confidently claim to be the finest of their kind at present produced. As with the Rolls Royce car among cars so are these oils compared with other grades of Oil. I should esteem it a great favour if you would watch the tests yourself as I feel sure with your practical P.T.O. | ||
