To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} (Chateauroux) 600a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.9/AP.7.3.38 26.G.V1. We should like to know if there is any sign on the above car of the cross-steering tube ball end joints rubbing the front tyres. Will you also state the clearance on each side when the car is stationary. We find 27.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} tyres are marked, but possibly this is all due to your treatment on the Skid Pan.
