EY. from EFC. c. BY/RD. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X 6003 EFC2/T4.4.29. INTERMEDIATE OUTPUT DYNAMO ARMATURES. X 6004 We should like to urge with you the instructioning of the intermediate output armatures as dealt with in our EFC4/LG29.2.29, and referred to in your BY8/G4.3.29. The state of affairs on our own experimental cars combined with the conditions of running have now become such that we have in one or two instances experienced similar insufficiency of charge, though perhaps in a lesser degree, to that complained of by various customers to whom we have supplied higher output machines. In the circumstances we are of the opinion that we should put in hand say two 20 H.P. and three 40/50 H.P. intermediate output machines of each rating for running on our experimental cars. Particularly will these be required in connection with the comparative trials of green lamp charge control and auto switch charge control which we hope to make, details of which in the latter case you have in hand for instruction.
