X4214 FN8/DN/18.1.24. TO Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM P.N. I have given the Hispano a run today. My impression from casually observing the driver's seat relatively to the steering wheel controls, leads me to think that the driver was expected to stand on the offside running board rather than sit in the car. In the event of the Railway Strike coming off, I shall have to drive instead of train up to Derby on Tuesday, and in that case, I should also have to return to London by car on the Wednesday instead of by train.
