DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Bailey.
Re. Test Tyres.

We have now forwarded to your Test Department a set of 5 wheels and tyres for the purpose of the Test already discussed between us.

Before it can properly commence, however, we would like to have some information from you on the subject of the axle loads, as upon these depends the inflation pressure. Could you arrange that we be advised on this point, and we will deal with the question of pressure immediately.

Our letter advised you that we were sending Mr. Fox to discuss the details of the test with you, but he will be in the Isle of Man attending the Tourists Trophy Trial for the next ten days. We have, therefore, instructed Mr. O'Gallaghan of the Test Department, to call upon you on Friday morning next the 11th inst, and we trust this will be quite convenient for you.

The only points requiring further discussion are merely detail matters such as the most convenient way of acquiring and keeping records, replacing tyres, periodical inspections etc.

Yours faithfully,

for THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.

(SGD) W. BOND.
