We seem to be experiencing a number of complaints of a new type in connection with the "toeing-in" of the front wheels. As one imagines that they are turned out correctly in the first place, one can only assume it is due to their not "staying put". I think it is a matter which should be investigated by the technical people concerned, as apart from troubles cause' by front tyres wearing out unduly, it also leads to high speed steering wobbles. I have just seen one complaint to-day in reference to 41-XJ, where R.{Sir Henry Royce} report the front wheels to be "toeing-in" to an extent of an inch, and one of the front wheels they say looks as if it had done 15,000 whereas it has really done less than 5,000.
