1021 23rd April, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.5/ET. Jack FOLLETT, Esq., "Triplex" Safety Glass Ltd., Albermarle Street, Piccadilly, LONDON W. 1. Dear Mr. Follett, In "The Motor" of April 9th 1941, I have seen an article about a new safety glass which is being developed in America, and for which they claim great strength compared with existing types. It apparently has a plastic substance between the glass sheets, which extends round the edges of the glass. A rubber like edge is produced, which can be bolted or nailed into a window opening. Do you know anything of this? If so I should be interested to have particulars and to know if you have anything similar. Yours sincerely, | ||
