25th. March 1930.

Dear Sirs,

We have been testing out some petrol filters with the filtering element made from a special type of porous pot.

Although these will choke up on a flow test with very dirty petrol, they give very satisfactory results in service, and we have had one of these filters on a commercial vehicle for the last six months and it has given excellent results.

We have sent addressed to Mr. Rowbotham, under separate cover, one of your own filters with a porous pot roughly adapted to the body in place of your usual filtering element. We send this thinking that it may be of some interest to you, and should you decide to carry out any tests we should be very interested at some future date to hear what your opinion is of the job, as so far as have shown it to no-one.

Yours faithfully,

BENTON & STONE LTD.

Director.
