Dear Sirs,
Order No. 72004.
Since you telephoned us at the beginning of last week pointing out that you would have preferred the sample Layrub Couplings to be of a diameter not exceeding 3", we have heard nothing further from you. Are we to take it that you are able to accommodate the 3½" Coupling which we have sent to you?
As explained on the telephone, the latter coupling is the smallest we make in this country, but if you can afford to wait a few weeks, we shall be pleased to obtain two of the smaller type from our principals in Amercia.
HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smith
Yours faithfully,
For the Company,
W. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} PALLETT,
General Manager.
