Hydraulic dampers returned from Cricklewood to determine if the complaints and subsequent changes were justified.

Arrangements were made for Cricklewood to return dampers alleged to knock, to the Works, so that they could be checked. This was to determine whether Cricklewood were changing dampers and replacing bushes unnecessarily. There have been a number of dampers returned.
