15 PRODUCTION B.V's
Handwritten: A.K.

15 B.V's are being fitted with bodies and sold to customers. The first car is now completed and will be run by Lp.{Mr Lappin}

Since the specification for these cars was circulated a number of faults have shown up and cures for these are now known. We should therefore compile a summary of the modifications necessary to these chassis before they are handed over to customers, to prevent a recurrence of the troubles encountered experimentally. Items which I can remember are :

Handwritten: MWH 1. Increased clearance to the rear brake linkage.
Handwritten: FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} 2. Modified oil feed to the clutch thrust race.
Handwritten: TAS{T. Allan Swinden} 3. Starter carburettor modified to prevent freezing.
Handwritten: Clm{D. D. Clapham} 4. Procedure to prevent front shock absorbers becoming ineffective. also remove end clearance.
Handwritten: RC{R. Childs} 5. Treatment required to ensure that speedometer and rev. counter drives are not noisy.
Handwritten: FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} 6. Propellor shaft rubber centre bearing.

There are probably quite a lot of other points. Will you please compile a complete list and let me have it to hand to Reid.
