I attempted to clean it to get to the office and Crawford examined it at Lillie Hall. He found that it was sticky round the lower bearing surface and showed slight signs of scoring. He cleaned it up and put it back and it has been going satisfactorily ever since. I thought, however, you would like to know this, as it is the first time it has happened with this special type of valve. C. | ||
