If they excite a similar reaction from yourself they will justify themselves. When are you coming over? Please stop sending me cables because really I can act better on a letter, and my time is so occupied (and lethargy such) that the attention I give them is somewhat leasurely at best. Recall to yourself my dear sir that G.M. pays my salary & (after my wife) has first claim on my time and that R.R. (bless their old souls) caused me faint when after several futile years I was beginning to get into stride. I should immensely like about 48 hours of concentrated shop talk with you.
