To. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MJ.6.6.30. 14038. X7530. X5530. K.S. PETROL GAUGE. We have had complaints from time to time from the final test people that the normal method of fixing the K.S. gauge in the instrument board is exceptionally awkward because the clip has to be slipped in from the side. There are often obstructions in the way from the box receptacles in the facia boards. Any fastening must be of the minimum width to avoid running into the same obstructions. We are sending you under separate cover, a spring clip and K.S. case which we have modified and which makes quite a good job of holding the gauge head to the dash-board but naturally our modification is only a temporary one and is therefore unsightly. If Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has time perhaps he will get out a design to overcome this trouble. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
