4-B-IV. 10,000 MILES CAR.

Herewith specification of the new parts which have been fitted to 4-B-IV, now running 10,000 miles in France :-

(1) Sheet metal floorboards, Leo.3781-3787-3890/1. Production to say
(2) Dropped front cross member, Sch.614. Standard -
(3) Revised position of battery cross member to improve body accommodation, EVS.116. Standard
(4) Governor controlled dampers. Standard
(5) Strengthened type front axle with 3-bolt pivot flange, M.S. 3958-4000-4009. Standard.
(6) Propellor shaft damper to overcome rattling in the transmission, M.S.3911. Standard
(7) Sheet metal change speed gate. economy. Production ?
(8) Improved front and rear brake adjustment. New wing nut and locking piece. SLIM(struck through) Standard
(9) Improved rear axle thrust race. Duralumin cage. Marles with duralumin cage. Remove and Standard
(10) Brakes lined all round with B.Z. material with the object of reducing jaggers. Not Standard.
(11) Front expansion box made in Staybright and lagged to reduce existing tinniness at low speeds. Intermediate pipe lengthened 1.00" owing to revised position of battery cross member. Standard
