Investigation of the possibilities of the axial flow compressor. In hand.
Modified pump drives - Kestrel PV.XII and sleeve valve single Completed
cylinder units. 30.7.35.


KESTREL ENGINE.

Adaption of Hobson Automatic boost control. Put aside.
Fixed pitch airscrew for testing V.P. blades. Completed 8.8.35.
Modified camshaft slot - Kestrel X automatic mixture control. Completed 18.7.35.
Adaption of RR.V.P. airscrew hub to take Schwarz blades. In hand.
RR.V.P. Airscrew - modified airscrew shaft nut and locking mech: Completed 6.7.35.


MERLIN "C"1 ENGINE.
