R.{Sir Henry Royce} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} McLEOD. Nov. 11th 1925 The Manager, Purchasing Dept., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, FLEXIBLE INSULATING SLEEVING. More and more Manufacturers are recognising the great value of Flexible Insulating Sleeving for the protection and insulation of the High and Low Tension Leads in their Electrical Equipment. Possibly your Engineers have already considered the use of this material. The Flexible Sleevings manufactured by our Works are of the highest quality, whilst the prices are extremely keen. In addition to their many other excellent qualities, our Sleevings stand up to very high currents. On testing our 1.5 x 2.5 m/m Sleeving - Wall thickness 0.5 m/m - Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd. found that the breakdown voltage was 16,000. This they said was extraordinary for an 0.5 m/m Wall. We enclose price list and some samples, which we trust may be of interest to you. Should you like further information on the subject, the writer would be pleased to call upon you at any time suitable to your good selves. Yours very truly, McLEOD & McLEOD [STAMP: Rcvd 12 NOV 1925] [STAMP: RECEIVED] | ||
