Contd. -3- EHS/LG27.6.19. ------------ jacks, that is arrived at by making the jack very low geared which means that the handle has to be turned many more times when raising and lowering the jack. As these jacks have no quick lifting devices, the actual time taken to operate the handle when raising and lowering the car is considerably longer in the case of the "Rapid" Jack than with the "Michelin". What we think is necessary is that proper pads for the jack should be fitted to the front and rear axles and if possible these pads should be made somewhat the same height.
