Total radial thickness of rubber, .035". Radial thickness of pure rubber, .006". PROTECTIVE COVERING. Single layer of varnished cable cloth, braid of polished cotton yarn and treated with Gloy adhesive during braiding to prevent slipping or fraying of the braiding material.
