GRY{Shadwell Grylls} FTH x350 Sft{Mr Swift} and MX.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Ey. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Ho/Hdy.{William Hardy} E.9/HP.7.2.36. 3 Spoke Steering Wheels. In connection with the fitting of 3 spoke steering wheels, it should be understood that this should always be carried out with one of the spokes at the topmost point of the rim in the normal position. This is necessary in order to avoid obscuring the desired view of the instrument board and for placing the two lower spokes in the most advantageous position for the purpose of steering control.
