The Empire Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Dunstable,
Beds.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for the 6 door glass buffers to our drawing RB.{R. Bowen}12140 which are now to hand. These we think will be quite satisfactory with the exception that if we decide to use them on production bodies we shall probably ask you to thicken the edges slightly.

Since asking you to make these it has occurred to us that it might be possible to make the buffers in a material of such a colour that they would be less noticeable than in black. As you know they are to be inserted in the door glasses.

We shall be glad to have your suggestions on this matter. Would it be possible to make them in a light coloured or semi transparent rubber.

Regarding the door seal to our RB.{R. Bowen}15010 and the door seal with live rubber skin to replace the velvet covered door seal, we should be glad to know when we may expect the sample length which you have in hand for us.

Yours faithfully,

A.E.Green,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
