FABRIC ENGINE COUPLING.

We are not sure whether we emphasised sufficiently that the one which failed was not fitted with reinforcing plates radiused at the edges, which feature was instructed by us.
We mention this as not only did the one which failed appear to have been cut by the sharp edges of these plates, but according to the report on 93-NK. (GWH {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 1/CRN11/4/25.) the fabric disc for this car has just commenced to be cut along the edges of two plates on the compression side, the cuts not extending to the periphery of disc, indicating the fracture was not entirely due to load.
