X5380 To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/LG27.3.29. X5230 We now have a 20 HP. with tubular cross members and 5/1 compression ratio turoulent head. The main difficulty with this car is the exhaust boom which has a sharp period almost exactly similar to that we experienced on the S.S. We should like an exhaust system with a cast manifold on the lines of 22-EX. This exhaust is the system with the pipes leading into the centre of the silencers. If we could have this, it would remove the main objection to this car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
