LUBRICATION OF DYNAMO REAR BEARINGS.

With reference to By/CGH{W Clough}20/G.24.10.33 we will arrange to have R.R.Sch.446 tested out as soon as details are available from the D.O. but we are more concerned with the lubrication of the 20/25 dynamo bearings at present.

We have had no complaints regarding failure of bearings on the 40/50 dynamo but complaints have been received of the 20/25 dynamo bearings running dry after only 500 miles use, long before the time for replenishment as given in the instruction book i.e. 2000 miles. In connection with the 20/25 therefore we are circulating a standardization sheet for the R.R.Sch.344 dynamo which will embody a much improved method of lubrication.
