To BY/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ----------------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}35/N.24.3.39. ----------------------- With reference to your memo BY/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}12/MG. 17.3.39, there are still cars giving trouble with rattles in the rear silencer and these will continue, for some time. The trouble has been cleared up by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} who assured me the last time I interviewed him. A larger hole is drilled which makes the welders do the job correctly. I left these complaints off my chart for this reason. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
