FRONT BRAKES & HUBS.

Pre-load of Angular Contact Bearing to be .002-1/2 Please put note covering this on the arrangement.

Experimental report that water shields foul the Brake Drum on the Front. See Sketch.

Difficulty is experienced in fitting the split pin to the Bearing Retaining Nut, due to the Hub projecting far beyond the nut. Please drill one hole in the hub of sufficient size to allow the split pin head to be passed through.
