Bearing pre-load and fitting difficulties with the split pin on Bentley 5 front brakes and hubs.

Experimental report that water shields foul the Brake Drum on the Front. See Sketch. Difficulty is experienced in fitting the split pin to the Bearing Retaining Nut, due to the Hub projecting far beyond the nut.
