Re: Phantom III Chassis 3.AX.121 - A.G.Clarke,Esq., ------------------------------------------- As requested in your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/H.3.1.38, I got in touch with Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} who telephoned to the above Owner, re the steering wobbles. It has been arranged for the car to come to Cricklewood on Wednesday morning the 5th.inst. and to be handed back to the chauffeur at 5 p.m. the same day. The remarks passed by the Owner to Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} were not very complimentary, and apparently he will not allow the liquid to be removed from the front tyres ( inner tubes). This, however, may mysteriously disappear if it is found to be the cause of the wobbles. We shall first of all check up the poundage of the steering joints.
