parts of a clutch without rivetting, for example, could a facing of bronze be applied direct to a driven plate, alternatively to a pressure plate or flywheel face? In any case, it will be appreciated that considerable experimental work would be necessary! With regard to Mr. Vandervell's query as to whether we have tested the sintered Bronze, we have not, because we only have a small sample, insufficient to make up one clutch, secondly we have no car in service fitted with the old type of clutch.
