Dear Sirs,

We would refer to your letter of the 12th instant, addressed for the attention of Mr. Henry Spurrier Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner}, on the subject of six connecting rods to which you have fitted aluminium tin bearings.

It would assist us in future if you would address communications of this description, referring to the despatch of parts, for the attention of the under-signed, as by doing this no delay would occur in chasing up the material and arranging for tests to be carried out. Should there by any items of a private nature these should, as previously, be addressed for the attention of our Asst. General Manager.

We trust you will appreciate this position, and the suggestion is being made purely to assist in expediting work to be carried out.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED.

A.{Mr Adams} Pilkington

Chief Engineer.
