W/S - C. X 361 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW.11.7.36. Mr. George Henriques, Park Hill, Park Road, Buxton. This gentleman is a friend of mine and has at present a 20/25 HP. and a Bentley. At the moment he is dissatisfied with his Bentley because he has had to have the clutch re-lined twice. He talked about buying another make of car, so I took him out in a Phantom III, with which he was delighted. He wants to sell his Bentley and get a Phantom III. Knowing the state of deliveries, I merely told him that I would refer the matter to you. I do not know whether there is any means whereby we can keep this customer going until we can get a Ph.III for him, but I should be glad if you would write to him and explain the difficulty of Ph.III deliveries without being too discouraging. I am leaving it to you to find some means of keeping him interested. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
