Adderley Park,
BIRMINGHAM 9.

For the attention of Mr. Leslie Kent.

Dear Sirs,

We understand that you are developing a plunger type of electrical petrol pump and that, up to the beginning of the war, our Mr. Dixon was carrying out some tests with sample pumps.

The trouble at that time appears to have been in the fact that the sparking of the contacts in the petrol caused a deposit to form. We believe this trouble was partly surmounted by plating the working parts.

We shall be very interested to hear more about this pump, and we should like to test one of the latest type.
