With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/AD30.6.32, in paragraph 1 you say that Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} and PN{Mr Northey} expressed their satisfaction and approval of the scheme of improved illumination. That is virtually true, but you will not overlook the fact that I suggested the illumination round the ammeter was much better and brighter than round the other instruments and as that seemed unnecessary you suggested toning it down by an increased thickness of the material that you have used to diffuse the light, round that particular instrument.
