Untarnishable finish in chromium. 18 ins. rims. 5.500ins tyres. Full details of the chassis are given on the drawings supplied. TYPE OF BODY. FOUR DOOR FOUR LIGHT SPORTS SALOON. see NSch.3686. SEATING. Four seater. Two sliding bucket seats in front. Rear seat to take two. Latex cushions with spring and hair squabs, but should it be impossible for you to get the thin squabs and cushions we have called for we agree to the use of any other form of construction including pneumatic. Folding centre armrest to the rear seat, and side armrests attached to the insides of the doors. The sliding seats to have the light type Leveroll Fittings. FRAMING. Body to be lightly framed in English Ash. Wheelarches to be of sheet steel .056ins thick ( or .062.) and made by the coachbuilder. For 1/4 scale layout see N.Sch.3685. DOORS. Four doors hung on the centre pillars. Metal door stops, Doors to be no more than 2.500ins thick at the lock. Dropping windows of Triplex .187ins. thick. HEAD. Head to be covered with straight grained fabric and if necessary sprayed to suit the colour of the body. Pytchley Sunshine Roof. Eddy-free front. Well of roof to be covered in when closed. Every precaution to be taken to prevent "drumming or booming." WINDSCREEN. Single piece screen and fixed. To shew no metal frame when viewed from the inside. Triplex .187ins. thick. Dual electrical screen wiper at base of screen. Interior sun visors. SCUTTLE VENTILATION. Air scoop coming from below the floor and up inside the scuttle. WINGS. Front and rear wings to be finished as far as is possible and finally fitted and painted by yourselves at our Works. Wings to be made in Aluminium I4.S.W.G. in the centre and I6 S.W.G. in the valances. No stone gaurds. A mud lip must be fitted around the whole of the edge of the front wings. Steps to match up with the sweep of the front wings as drawn. Metal covered with strip rubber tread to match the paintwork. FLOORS. The whole of the front floor in front of the platform for the sliding seats will be supplied and fitted by Derby. The sunken rear floor to be made in sheet aluminium and lined with wood to prevent drumming. Therear seat board must permit of the inspection and the removal of the battery and the floor of the boot should have a trap to allow of the removal of the tank fittings. | ||
