The Wraith should handle well when we have got the pivot inclinations correct. Other tests, of more academic interest, that we have done are a measure of the benefit of increasing rim width for a given tyre. These confirm tests at Dunlop that the wider the rim the more the cornering power even after lowering the tyre pressure to the same degree of comfort. The Skid Pan enables us when choosing a new section of tyre to make sure in a few minutes that we do not standardise a tyre sensitive to tyre pressures from the point of view of handling, a fault very evident on the Packard.
