X 7518 SS.{S. Smith} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to FH. c. to KP. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/WJ.6.5.30. 80-WJ. We have carried out the following work on this car :- Low inertia crankshaft damper fitted. Exhaust heated hot spot fitted and exhaust blows eliminated. Altered brake leverage. Rear brakes re-lined. Clutch stopping improved. Stiffer front springs fitted. "Afa" shock dampers all round. Broken valve springs changed. Centre point radiator mounting. Improved petrol supply. General steering adjustments to overcome complaints. Tyres balanced and worst sample returned to The India Tyre Co. The major components of the centre point radiator mounting scheme are on 23-EX and 24-EX in France. Where we have modified the original design experimentally we are arranging to get the bits tested at Chateauroux without delay. At the same time we should like this feature to be kept under observation on 1-WJ. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
