1021 18th April, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.1/ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} C.T. CRIPPS, Esq., Pianoforte Supplies Ltd., Simplex Works, R O A D E, Northants. Dear Mr. Cripps, We have now received the two lengths of carpet edging channel you have sent us. Before deciding to fit this to our sample body, we should like to know:- 1. Can you produce a similar section with the top serrated? 2. What would be the cost of tools for producing a section 1/2" deep in place of the 5/16" as your sample? Our reason for thinking of serrating or corrugating the top is that the plain section, which looks very nice when new, easily scratches when it is trodden on and looks dilapidated in a short time. If you could let me have this information, I should be much obliged. Yours sincerely, | ||
