E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} RG.{Mr Rowledge} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} +7070 R2/M21.1.28. SPORTS, (EARLY - NOT SUPER). X.8070 X.8080 I agree that an alternative slotted induction pipe for EAC.14 should be made as E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} suggests - i.e. underfed type. It would naturally be tested both ways - i.e. with drain into carburetter and also into engine. It must not be forgotten that some of the virtues of the top feed may come from increased length of slot, and also spreading effect of the liquid fuel on the curved surface, so that for cold running the top feed may always be better.
