Sidgreaves - MD} X8400 BY/Cghl/G.27.8.27. re PHANTOM REAR WHEEL AND LUGGAGE CARRIER. --------------------------------------- With reference to EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M23.8.27. we send you herewith blueprint F.76202/S showing modified end of chassis frame and drilling to suit the design of combined rear wheel and luggage carrier as per General Arrangement F.76987, print of which we also send you herewith. We see no reason why you should not make the necessary alterations to move the combined wheel and luggage carrier .550" further to the rear, as we have not so far produced any of the parts although some jigs and tools may have been made. The luggage grid shown on N. Sch. 2286 has not been produced, as we did not consider it worth while going to the expense of this in view of the fact that we were expecting the combined scheme to come forward at an early date. In view of the above no doubt you will let us have your modifications required to N. Sch. 2286 in order to adapt this design to the same frame extension as required for the combined rear wheel and luggage carrier. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
