1331 + 1332 To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}2/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.7.39. Re your memo on tyres, the only thing we know about the Avons is what we told you in our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}9/MH.{M. Huckerby} 30.6.39. We send you a further copy of this in case you did not receive the original. We presume that by the measurements of the tread depth you can tell which is which. The wheels which are on their way to you are 5 x 16 and are for use on 30.G. when you use 7" tyres. The 6" rims will be sent to you as soon as we have done Skid pan tests on them. Until you receive them you should not use any of the Dunlop Stabilia tyres or the special 7 x 16 WR type. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 1331 file | ||
