Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to CWB X8140 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG26.10.26. PHANTOM WITHOUT THROTTLE GOVERNOR. X8140 X8770 Replying to BJ10/E22.10.26. We could very easily cut out the governor on any Phantom car. We suggest that it would be a better test if we arranged to do it on one of the London cars on which the characteristics of the car are thoroughly well known. We could send a man to carry out this work in London and instruct the people there how to replace the standard parts, if they are required. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
