2. is the failure of the ballast resistance, and I again bring forward my previous recommendation that the ballast coil should be better insulated. Mr.Wyer suggests that this case should be lined with asbestos so as to prevent the broken ends of the short circuiting to the case. As pointed out previously, we certainly have had experience of these failures on test. We await to hear further from you on this matter before taking any action. EP.{G.
