When previously fitted on the other bed this unit gave very good power and should be rechecked. Take full characteristics of cylinder head as carried out on B.60 No.1. New cylinder head will then be ready PD.368 and similar tests should be taken. Any spare time should be filled by investigation of ignition governor characteristic, whether this unit is similar to No.4 in respect of advance being 4° to 6° retard of laboratory setting. B.80 No.2. Continue crankshaft damper tests as previous programme. No.2. Test House. B.II No.4 Unit. Returned to shop following valve failure.
