Re INSTRUCTION BOOK.

Mr. Carew, Chief Inspector for our Japanese Agents reports as follows with regard to the Instruction Book, on which I shall be glad to have your remarks to enable me to reply to customer:-

"The Instruction Book supplied is suitable for owners of cars in this country, who have facilities for returning the car to the Works in case of any adjustment being necessary which is perhaps of a more advanced nature than described in the book. It should be borne in mind, however, that this car is one of the several shipped to the Far East and that it is impossible to communicate with your Works or receive any instructions from them in a letter period than ten to twelve weeks. Therefore we feel sure you will agree that some more detailed form of advanced instruction book should be got in order that the garage people may be able to efficiently deal with any ordinary circumstances which may arise in regard to Rolls-Royce cars. We should welcome your advices any any information you are able to give us in this connection. The point appears to us to be an important one and worthy of rather close consideration".
