- sheet 2 - Valves and Fittings. Proceed with 3 sets of valves to LeC.4113. Proceed with 1 set of double valve springs LeC.4124, also try the strongest available single springs which are to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1607 (or E.85317 pulled out slightly). Inlet Pipes. Proceedwith 2 sets as first car. Carburetter. Proceed with 2 sets as first car. Air Silencer. Proceed with 2 sets as first car. Camshaft & Bearings. Proceed with 3 sets of camshafts to LeC.4120, up to Torming. Proceed with 3 sets of lighter cam wheel LeC.4050. Dynamo & Water Pump Drive. Three sets similar to first car. Idler Gear. -do- Ignition Governor & Drive. -do- Cross Drive Shaft. -do- Water Pump. Instruct three large pumps to LeC.4162. (Investigation is required into the handing of the gland nut) A design for Thermoflex carbon gland type will follow. Oil Pump and Drive. Proceed with three sets as first car. (Experimental work is necessary to trace the cause of fall in pressure at low engine speeds). Wheelcase & Fittings. Proceed with 3 sets similar to first car. Water Connections. Proceed with two sets top and bottom connections like the first car. Top connections may be modified later. Oil Fittings. Proceed with three sets like firstvcar. Oil Filter. -do- Oil Filler. -do- | ||
